Free-from ready meal brand Kirsty’s has launched a food-to-go range of sandwiches, salads and wraps in partnership with Raynor Foods.
The two brands have come together to “shake up the free-from, food-to-go category, providing lunch options that never compromise on quality or taste”. The range consists of:
- Mexican Salad Bowl: Spicy Mexican rice with roasted sweet potato, sweetcorn kernels, and a Mexican-inspired slaw (gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free)
- B.L.T: Streaky bacon, crisp lettuce, sliced tomato and mayonnaise, topped with tomato chutney on gluten-free seeded bread (gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free)
- Salt & Pepper Chicken Chilli Wrap: Salt ‘n’ Pepper chicken with Korean-style sauce in a gluten-free tortilla wrap (gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free)
- Gluten-free toasties: A range of gluten-free toasties created for cafes and coffee shops, which are launching into Morrisons cafes this month (gluten-free, nut-free)
The new Kirsty’s food-to-go range is available through Raynor Foods for distribution across cafes, universities, colleges, secondary schools, hospitals and more.
Kirsty Henshaw, founder of Kirsty’s, commented: “Our mission with Kirsty’s has always been to support those navigating food allergies and intolerances by providing high quality, great tasting free-from food options. The food-to-go market was an area we had not entered previously due to the short self-life of the products, but we were determined to find a solution, which is why we are so thrilled to have joined forces with Raynor Foods, benefitting from their expertise in this field.”
Catherine van Dok, Business Development Manager at Raynor Foods, added: “We’re really excited to have created this partnership with Kirsty’s, who have been leading the way in free-from products for over 10 years. It’s an area of food-to-go that we have wanted to develop for some time as demands from consumers have changed, and we think we’ve come up with some fantastic options to launch this range that provide exciting, tasty solutions for those seeking alternatives when they’re on the go.”
