Aldi has revealed the 11 locations around the UK where it will be opening new stores between now and Christmas:
- Bilston Street, Sedgley, West Midlands – November
- Oakwell Road, Castle Douglas, Dumfries and Galloway – November
- Tanbridge Retail Park, Horsham, West Sussex – November
- Straiton Road, Loanhead, Midlothian – November
- Muswell Hill, Haringey, Greater London – November
- Caernavon Road, Pwllheli, Gwynedd – November
- Salisbury Road, Totton, Hampshire – December
- Cribbs Causeway, Bristol – December
- Colliery Lane, Hetton-le-Hole, Tyne and Wear – December
- Princess Road, Ashton-in-Makerfield, Greater Manchester – December
- Duff Street, Macduff, Banffshire – December
In addition, more than 15 of the discounter’s stores will undergo refurbishments over the next couple of months.
The latest openings form part of Aldi’s long-term target of 1,500 stores across the UK, with it investing £800m in expanding its footprint this year alone.

The news comes after Aldi was yesterday named Britain’s cheapest supermarket for the 12th month in a row by consumer watchdog Which?:
