KP Snacks Acquires Whole Earth Foods

Intersnack-owned KP Snacks has acquired Whole Earth Foods from Ecotone for an undisclosed amount.

Whole_Earth_Drizzler_Salted_CaramelThe Whole Earth brand, which includes nut butters and soft drinks, has grown substantially since it was acquired by Ecotone in 2003. As well as becoming the UK’s leading peanut butter brand, it has expanded into other European markets, including Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, and Italy.

Commenting on the deal, Mark Thorpe, CEO of KP Snacks, said: “Whole Earth Foods is a fantastic addition to our business, expanding our selection of delicious, healthier products.
