Nisa has appointed Paul Webster as Head of Partnerships to manage its key corporate accounts.

He has joined the wholesale and symbol group from PepsiCo, where he held several key positions, most recently as Sales Director for Sainsbury’s and Waitrose. In 2019, he took on responsibility for PepsiCo’s convenience business, overseeing the development and execution of commercial strategies for its brands.

Nisa described Webster’s appointment as “pivotal” as it looks to develop “deeper, more valuable relationships, to drive its corporate partnerships to new heights”.

As part of Katie Secretan’s Sales & Retail Leadership Team, Webster will take on the role of managing the company’s largest corporate accounts and strategic partnerships. Nisa noted that he will be instrumental in developing and delivering its strategic sales plan, driving collaboration across the Co-op’s wholesale business unit and unlocking longer-term growth.

Secretan, Nisa’s Sales & Retail Director, said: “Paul’s extensive experience in managing high-profile accounts, building strategic partnerships, and leading successful teams will be invaluable as we continue to drive our ambitious growth plans. His passion for collaboration and proven ability to deliver exceptional results are going to be crucial for this pivotal role, and I’m thrilled to welcome Paul to the team.”

Webster added: “The opportunity to contribute to the growth of a business that is so deeply rooted in supporting and growing its corporate partners and independent retailers is incredibly motivating, and I’m looking forward to joining a team that is at an important and exciting part of its growth journey.”

Last year, Nisa strengthened its Sales and Retail leadership team with the appointments of Taranjit Singh Dhillon as Head of Retail, Ian King as Head of Business Development, Lauren Brogden as Head of Sales Engagement, and Joy McAleese to Head of Wholesale.

However, just before Christmas, it was revealed that Nisa’s Managing Director, Peter Batt, and Commercial Director, Ayaz Alam, had left the business. The search for replacements is underway, but in the meantime, Jerome Saint-Marc, Co-op’s Managing Director for B2B and growth, will oversee the day-to-day management of Nisa and its wholesale operations. Sinead Bell, Co-op’s Commercial Director, will assume responsibility for Nisa’s commercial team.
