Gü Appoints New Chief Executive

Desserts company Gü has announced the appointment of Emma Vass as its new Chief Executive.

Gu-Speculoos_Sponge_PuddingShe will replace Peter Utting, who is retiring after more than 35 years in the food & drink industry and six years leading Gü.

Simon Davidson from Gü’s owner Exponent said: “We’d like to thank Pete for his successful leadership of Gü over the last six years, and welcome Emma at this very exciting time. Gü delivered double-digit volumes growth last year, and with the significant investment now made in new capacity, the brand is strongly positioned to continue this growth under Emma’s leadership”.

Vass added: “Gü is such a beautiful, innovative brand with the potential to become one of the leading global indulgence brands – I am delighted to have the opportunity to join the team and be part of the continued success”.
