Sustainable cleaning brand neat. has launched a refillable Foaming Body Wash, which it claims is a first-of-its-kind innovation in the UK.
Known for its eco-conscious, refillable household cleaning products and hand wash, neat. is now bringing its sustainability mission into the beauty and personal care category.
With three fragrances – Mimosa Blossom & Neroli, Coconut & Vanilla Bean, and Hibiscus & Açai Berry – neat.’s Foaming Body Wash is designed to provide a “luxurious, skin-friendly experience” while reducing environmental impact.
“This launch is inspired by our customers, who have been asking for more sustainable solutions for their everyday lives,” said Ryan McSorley, neat. co-founder and designer. “The body wash category is plagued by significant plastic waste and carbon emissions. We felt it was time to bring an innovative, truly sustainable alternative to the space.”
Traditional body wash products often contain high percentages of water, increasing transport emissions and requiring large plastic containers. neat.’s 50ml concentrate transforms into 500ml of body wash, offering up to 55 washes per refill. The compact size drastically reduces transport emissions and storage space compared to conventional bottles, whilst reducing the amount of plastic packaging that can end up in landfills or oceans.
The refillable foaming body wash has launched in Tesco this week, with a starter Pack (refillable aluminium bottle + x1 concentrated refill) costing £10. Refills are priced at £4.50.
