Onken Moves Into Kids’ Yogurt Pots Category

Onken, the UK’s leading flavoured big pot yogurt brand, is expanding into kids’ yogurts with the launch of Onken KiddOs. The yogurt is made with just three natural ingredients: whole milk, real fruit, and a hint of sugar, fortified with Vitamin D.

Onken-KiddOs-yogurtThe brand noted that as parents become increasingly conscious of what goes into their children’s food, demand for simpler, more natural ingredients continues to rise. Onken KiddOs is designed to meet these expectations with a short and transparent ingredient list, providing “essential nutrition without compromise”.

Available in two flavours – Banana & Raspberry, and Blueberry, Blackberry & Banana – Onken KiddOs will initially launch in Tesco from 3 March with an RRP of £2.25 for a 4 x 90g pot multi-pack. The launch will be backed by a national marketing campaign, including TV and out-of-home advertising, social media and in-store activities, plus sampling.

Onken has designed a “fun, engaging, and reassuring” brand identity to differentiate KiddOs from competitors. The fully recyclable packaging highlights ingredient quality and nutritional benefits.

Mathilde van Roon, Head of Onken, commented: “More than ever, parents are looking for naturally healthy foods with minimal ingredients. Onken KiddOs is our response to this shift – delivering great taste with absolute transparency. With only three natural ingredients and fortified with vitamin D, it’s a product that aligns with modern family values.

“At the same time, we know that kids want fun and exciting foods, which is why we’ve created a deliciously creamy yogurt, with playful, vibrant packaging that makes mealtimes more enjoyable.”
