Deliveroo Rolls Out Morrisons Loyalty Scheme

Deliveroo has become the first delivery app to integrate the Morrisons More loyalty scheme into its platform.

Shoppers can now link their Morrisons More account with their Deliveroo account to earn points on their purchases from the supermarket. Once they have saved 5,000 More Points, they receive a Morrisons Fiver, which can be redeemed against a future shop.

Morrisons partnered with Deliveroo at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. Since then, the tie-up has grown to cover around 400 supermarkets, 500 convenience stores, and the launch of a rapid on-demand delivery-only grocery store with Deliveroo HOP. The delivery service covers 15,000 products, with plans to expand further in the coming months.

Charlotte Exell, Director of Online at Morrisons, said: “We’re delighted to be able to provide even more value and flexibility to our loyalty card holders by offering them More Points when they order from our supermarkets on Deliveroo – we want to help them benefit from their More Card wherever they shop with us.”

Suzy McClintock, VP of New Verticals at Deliveroo, added: “We are very excited to be the first delivery platform to roll out Morrisons More, ensuring our customers can access even more value and rewards on top of the great selection and convenience this partnership already provides.”

Earlier this month, Deliveroo made its first annual profit since it was launched in 2013, with its founder forecasting that grocery shopping will eventually overtake takeaway food orders on the delivery platform.
