Premium Indian food brand Geeta’s is launching a duo of meal kits that are designed to provide all the flavours of India as a quick and easy dish.
Two flavours, Tikka Wrap Kit and Tandoori Wrap Kit, are launching in 280 Morrisons stores from today (RRP: £3.50).
The Tikka Wrap Kit includes Chapattis, Tikka Paste and Mango Sauce, while the Tandoori Wrap Kit includes Chapattis, BBQ Tandoori Sauce and Tomato and Chilli Masala Ketchup.
Both kits serve 2-3 people in just 20 minutes. They feature instructions for consumers to follow on how to cook and assemble the components with their choice of protein.
“With more and more UK consumers looking for great tasting food that is convenient yet still full of flavour, creating Geeta’s meal kits was a simple solution to an ever-growing consumer need,” said Eleanor Bridgeman, Director of Sales & Marketing at Geeta’s Food.
“UK consumers are familiar with the format and usage of a meal kit, and we saw a gap in the Indian cuisine market – the nation’s third favourite cuisine – to encourage consumers to trial Indian flavours in a modern eating occasion.”
This launch comes following the brand recently securing six new listings in 280 Morrisons stores. The product extensions include Geeta’s Lime & Chilli Chutney, Geeta’s Onion & Paprika Flat Bread, Geeta’s Five Seed Flat Bread, Geeta’s Tikka Paste, Geeta’s Korma Paste and Geeta’s Butter Chicken Paste.
