Boots is extending the hours of its on-demand delivery service up to midnight to make it easier for busy people to access health and beauty products.
The retailer offers a range of almost 10,000 health, beauty and wellness products via rapid delivery platforms Uber Eats and Deliveroo. The 10 Boots stores now trialling the extended opening hours seven days a week are all based in London.
Paula Bobbett, Chief Digital Officer at Boots, commented: “We know our customers’ lives don’t stop at 6pm, and neither should their access to essentials – whether that’s medicine for a poorly child, a forgotten gift, or an evening skincare top-up. By extending our instant delivery hours through Uber Eats and Deliveroo, we’re giving customers more flexibility and convenience when they need it most.”
The retailer revealed that the most popular products customers order from Boots via on-demand delivery platforms include:
- Pregnancy tests from Clearblue and Boots Brand
- Baby formula such as Aptamil First Infant Milks
- Acne support, including the Hero Mighty Patch Duo
- Upset stomach relief from Pepto Bismol
- Thrush treatment such as Canesten Thrush Combi
- Cold and flu relief Lemsip Max
- Hay fever relief from Allevia
- Stop smoking support like Nicorette Quickmist
