Chocolate brand Ritter Sport has appointed Christian Boulter as Sales Director for the UK and Ireland to support its plans to accelerate growth across key retail and impulse channels.

Boulter has over 25 years of senior commercial and sales leadership experience, having worked for several leading FMCG brands, including Kraft Foods, Britvic, Campbell’s and Symington’s.
His appointment comes at a time of strong performance for Ritter Sport, with the brand achieving double-digit growth and delivering incremental category value across grocery retail. In his new role, Boulter will be tasked with deepening the brand’s existing retail partnerships, expanding national distribution, and maximising visibility across grocery, convenience and out-of-home sectors.
“We’re in a strong position with grocery, especially in convenience formats, where we’ve already secured notable gains in Sainsbury’s Local and Tesco Express,” said Boulter. “But there’s even more headroom in impulse-driven channels, where confectionery plays a critical role in shopper missions.”
Boulter will lead a senior commercial team with a mandate to deliver the next phase of Ritter Sport’s growth strategy, leveraging its premium positioning, flavour innovation, and sustainability credentials in a highly competitive category.
