FBC’s Rocky Brand Unveils First Innovation In 10 Years

Fox’s Burton’s Companies (FBC) is looking to “shake up the chocolate biscuit bar category” with Rocky STACK’d – the first significant innovation of the Rocky format in over a decade, and the first sandwich-style Rocky bar.

Rocky-STACKdWith Rocky’s value sales growing over 27.2% in the past two years, STACK’d is said to present an opportunity for retailers to tap into this momentum, driving incremental sales with a “refreshed and indulgent proposition that meets growing shopper demand for newness and added texture”.

Rocky STACK’d combines two crunchy biscuits with a layer of smooth cream in between. It is available in two variants, Vanilla Cream and Chocolate Cream.

David Hebson, Trade Marketing Director at FBC, said: “Rocky has always stood for quality and great taste, and we’re proud to be one of the top household names in the biscuit category. With STACK’d, we’re doubling down on those values while giving shoppers the ‘new news’ they’re craving in the chocolate biscuit bar aisle.”

“This is all about offering a more indulgent and satisfying option – whether it’s evening snacking or an on-the-go treat – and we believe it gives retailers a powerful new reason to back the Rocky brand.”

The bars will be available for £1.50 in 6-pack multipacks. They will launch in Asda on 26th July and roll out to other major retailers from 7th September.
