Just Egg, the plant-based egg brand popular in the US, is coming to the UK.
The product is made from the mung bean, a protein-rich legume. It is said to scramble, cook, and taste like any other egg, with the same amount of protein but less saturated fat. The product is aimed at vegans, flexitarians, egg intolerants, and people looking for healthier food options.
Since it was first launched back in 2019, Just Egg has sold over 500 million chicken egg equivalents in the US, becoming the leading plant-based egg on the market.
