PepsiCo is reported to have axed its Walkers van sales teams, marking ‘the end of an era’ for in-store support for retailers.
PepsiCo’s retail sales representative for Brighton in Sussex, Mason Smith, is quoted by trade publication Better Retailing as saying: “Unfortunately, PepsiCo have made the vans sales team redundant and the last 7.5 years building a crack Home Counties sales team has come to an end.”
