M&S has launched a click & collect service at its new food outlet, located on an Applegreen petrol forecourt in Cavan town, Ireland.
The ‘shop within a shop’ concept offers more than 400 M&S food lines alongside a contactless click & collect service for fashion, home, and beauty products ordered from its website.
The latest opening in Cavan is part of M&S’s ongoing partnership with Applegreen and follows the announcement earlier this year that 20 new shops were planned in 2025. There are now 31 M&S Food outlets operating on Applegreen sites across the island of Ireland, complementing its 16 owned stores in the country. Applegreen has almost 200 locations across Ireland.
Eddie Murphy, Country Director for M&S in Ireland and Northern Ireland, said: “We are proud to expand our partnership with Applegreen and bring M&S Food to Cavan. This rollout allows us to reach more customers, offering convenient ways to pick up M&S favourites on the go while delivering real value.”
Seamus Stapleton, Managing Director of Applegreen Ireland, added: “The addition of M&S Food at Cavan demonstrates our commitment to offering customers the best food and hospitality brands. M&S is a much-loved household name, and this partnership allows us to deliver a wider range of quality products and an even better experience for our customers on the road.”
NAM Implications:
- Given that there are 31 M&S Food outlets operating on Applegreen sites…
- …it seems reasonable to anticipate that M&S will eventually have food outlets on all 200 Applegreen sites.
- Which, combined with M&S’s 16 owned stores in Ireland…
- …qualifies M&S as a major customer.
- Over to you…
