Bisto And Paxo Serve Up New Festive Lines

Premier Foods has unveiled two new limited-edition lines for the festive season: Bisto Signature Ready-to-Use Beef and Chicken Gravies (MSSP: £3.50), and Paxo Orange & Cranberry Stuffing Wreath Kits (MSSP: £3.50). It is also adding a new Paxo Quick Cook Stuffing Sage & Onion (MSSP: £2.49), which will be available year-round.

The company noted that Ready-To-Use (RTU) gravy continues to grow in popularity, now worth £6m in value and growing 7.7% year-on-year – the fastest-growing format in the category. The new Bisto Signature RTU Beef and Chicken Gravies offer shoppers “must-stock flavours in a popular and convenient format, combined with the trusted quality of the Bisto brand”.

Meanwhile, its Orange & Cranberry Stuffing Wreath Kit is made with “carefully selected ingredients to deliver a distinctly seasonal taste”. It comes with a foil wreath tray that gives shoppers the chance to craft their own stuffing-based spectacle.

In addition to the new launches rolling out in leading supermarkets this month, Bisto and Paxo are also returning with their seasonal line-up: Bisto Turkey Gravy Granules, Bisto Best Turkey Gravy, Bisto Roast Potato Seasonings Rosemary & Garlic, and Paxo Chestnut & Cranberry Stuffing.

Additionally, Paxo is looking to help retailers tap into the opportunity to drive stuffing sales all year round with a new permanent addition to its range, Paxo Quick Cook Stuffing Sage & Onion. Nearly 50% of all stuffing consumers only buy it once a year, due to the time and effort required to cook it. To overcome this, Paxo’s new Quick Cook Stuffing cooks in 13-18 minutes in either the air fryer or oven, creating a more convenient way for shoppers to enjoy Sage & Onion stuffing.
