Biscoff Seeking To Boost Brand Awareness With New Jar

Biscoff’s spread range is getting a makeover with the launch of new bespoke glass jars to give greater on-shelf impact.

Biscoff JarThe new packs will roll out later this year and will include three key elements – a new contoured shape for added grab appeal, embossed ridges top and bottom to mimic the famous biscuit, and an updated label orientation for greater brand recognition.

Frances Booth, Head of Marketing at Lotus Bakeries, commented: “Biscoff has always been a pioneer within the spread category, creating a unique addition to the market by carefully crafting a deliciously smooth or crunchy spread from our iconic biscuits. It is therefore essential that Biscoff gets the standout, not just through its unique flavour, but now through the packaging as well. With over 60 million jars sold globally last year, we want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to find exactly what they are looking for on shelf, and we are excited with the opportunities for greater product recognition this new, one-of-a-kind design will provide.”

The new shape will be rolled out across the brand’s full retail portfolio, from the 200g jars to the family-size 700g/720g jars, on both the smooth and crunchy spreads.
