Develop Your Account Management Career And Knowledge With IGD’s Learning Programme

31st August 2023

At IGD, our life-long learning approach inspires and supports industry colleagues throughout their careers, building knowledge and developing capability. We support businesses and people to thrive and help make the food and consumer goods industry more productive.

One of the many ways you can learn with IGD is through our open workshop programme – taught by industry experts, across account management, e-commerce and category management.

These workshops can support one-off learning or provide a longer journey of learning. For example, if you are in your first year of account management, we would recommend:

Why attend one of our workshops?

  1. Take the lead: Our industry is constantly facing new challenges and evolving, so don’t wait to gain valuable knowledge and skills that will help improve the way you work and unlock commercial benefits for your business.
     .
  2. Choose your path: Our workshop programme covers a wide variety of topics, such as account management, e-commerce, category management, negotiation and turning data into insight, across various experience levels.
     .
  3. Hear from industry experts: Our trainers all have a wealth of experience working within the industry before becoming tutors. And by choosing to learn with IGD, you’ll have the benefit of our unique combination of industry knowledge and foresight that have helped FMCG businesses for over 100 years.
     .
  4. Flexible delivery: Our workshops are delivered both virtual and in-person, to allow you to choose what works best for you:
Virtual workshops provide you with flexibility and consist of three, three-hour workshops held across three days. Easier to manage around a busy schedule.
In-person workshops are held at our offices in Letchmore Heath over two days, allowing you to switch off from your day-to-day tasks and focus solely on learning. Also offering you the opportunity to network with your peers.

You can explore our workshops here or our wider learning programme at igd.com/learning
