Whether you are totally new to the topic, or more likely wanting to kick-start the process in-house, or are even in the latter stages of deep-embedding of the process, participating in a dedicated Forum may be the answer. In fact, most of the delegates at the recent Exceedra Revenue Management Forum appeared to benefit from the opportunity to benchmark their progress in optimising Revenue Management in-house.
With a mix of delegates from backgrounds including Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Planning, Pricing, Revenue Management, Sales and a number of sharp-end NAMs, the session appeared to provide real-world experience for all.
This one-day participative session enabled a mix of supplier-practitioners and Revenue Management service providers to give delegates a unique opportunity to share the hands-on experience of active practitioners, in real-world circumstances.
Commencing with a UK and global update on retail market realities, the conference continued with an in-depth treatment of a food supplier’s experience in Developing a Revenue Management Culture, followed with key highlights of Exceedra’s latest software and its application.
There followed a pragmatic demonstration of the issues related to Aligning Theory with Business Reality in a consumer care division of a pharmaceutical company.
The next session illustrated how to Overcome the Barriers in Synchronising Revenue Management with Supply Chain Operations in order to grow your bottom line, an issue that affects us all…
This was followed by a detailed session on How to Effectively Integrate Revenue Management into the Sales Planning (& Execution) Process, again with a number of practical examples.
Finally, the day was tied together by a session on Integrating Digital Opportunities with Revenue Management.
An e-Q&A session at each point allowed delegates to raise questions anonymously and also allowed presenters to provide more comprehensive answers than would have been possible via the old analogue method.
On balance, whatever stage Revenue Management had reached in their organisations, the Forum appeared to benefit the attendees.
