Aldi Expands Partnership With Cocoa-Free Chocolate Brand

Aldi is expanding its relationship with the cocoa-free chocolate brand ChoViva with the launch of three new seasonal products.

ChoViva AldiChoViva is a chocolate alternative made from a blend of sunflower seeds, sugar and plant-based fats, which is designed to taste just like the real thing, with the same creamy texture.

The supermarket has launched a ChoViva Halloween Gonk (59p), with another two cocoa-free festive lines also in stores ahead of Christmas.

The move follows the successful launch of its cocoa-free Peanut Butter Mini Eggs earlier this year as Aldi seeks to tap into growing demand for chocolate alternatives.

Julie Ashfield, Chief Commercial Officer at Aldi UK, said: “We don’t believe that anyone should have to pay a premium for exciting new products. That’s why our cocoa-free confectionery is available at our usual unbeatable Aldi value for all shoppers to enjoy.”
