Savoury snack brand Cheesies has launched in 314 Asda stores.
The 20g bags of Cheesies are priced at £1.50, with Red Leicester, Goat, Gouda and Chilli Cheddar varieties. Made from nothing but cheese, Cheesies are baked until crunchy and are claimed to be the only grab-and-go ambient cheese snacks on the market.
Brand Co-Founder Max Rees said: “The arrival of ambient cheese on shelves next to crisps and nuts is still somewhat of a novelty, but it’s revolutionary in that it means customers can enjoy their favourite snack without a risk of it getting warm or sweaty, whilst on-the-go.
