Dessert brand Angel Delight has expanded its ice cream range with the introduction of handheld sticks.
They have gone on sale in Morrisons in two nostalgic flavours – banana and butterscotch (MSRP: £3.25/3x100ml) – and feature Angel Delight’s “fluffy, light, mallowy” ice cream covered in milk chocolate.
Brand owner Premier Foods first launched Angel Delight in the ice cream category in 2022 in soft-serve tubs.
Daniel Jalalpour, the company’s Marketing Director for Desserts, said: “We want to build on the success that we have already seen with our ice cream range and what better way than with a convenient, handheld format.
“Our new Ice Cream Sticks will provide shoppers with the chance to enjoy Angel Delight at even more occasions. Like our ice cream tubs, we expect this new launch to engage loyal Angel Delight fans and bring newcomers to the brand as we head into the summer season.”
