Asda has launched its new ‘Wine Atlas’ range, which has been created to encourage consumers to broaden their wine horizons by discovering options from lesser-known regions.
The retailer has introduced three whites, two rosés and a red from the likes of Romania, Greece, Corsica and Portugal, all costing £7 and under. They include a Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio.
James Yelland, senior manager for wine buying at Asda noted how exploring new wines “shouldn’t have to come with a hefty price tag”.
He added: “At £7 and under, the six Wine Atlas wines all combine impressive quality and great value. As some people aren’t quite sure where to start when it comes to trying new wines, we’ve shared a selection of ‘Discovery Dupes’ to help shoppers align their current tastes with potential new favourites so shoppers can impress friends and family with their ahead-of-the-curve tastes.”
