Asda has introduced a new single-serve pastry & cakes offering within its bakery department to cater for breakfast, lunch and afternoon treats on the go.
Initially launched in 109 stores, the range covers a variety of baked goods, including classics such as Croissants, Pain Au Chocolat, and Cinnamon Swirls, alongside on-trend savoury pastries like Pesto & Parmesan Swirls and Cheese Croissants. There are also sweet treats, including a Sicilian Lemon Danish with a meringue topping and a Biscoff Croissant.
Asda noted that the products were being offered at market-leading prices, starting at 38p.
