Premier Foods is aiming to change consumer perceptions of ambient ready meals with its new Batchelors Meals in Minutes range.
Available in traditional favourites like Beef Lasagne, Beef Chilli con Carne & Rice, as well as updated classics like Chicken Casserole & Rice, it aims to cater to demand from time-poor shoppers seeking fulfilling meals.
All three meals are shelf stable whilst containing no artificial colours or preservatives. Meals in Minutes is expected to help broaden the brand’s appeal amongst a new demographic and help retailers drive footfall into the ambient meals category with the convenient format.
The Batchelors Meals in Minutes range is rolling out in Sainsbury’s with an RRP of £3.50 (300g).
