A new range of premium ham from London-based producer Bearfields has launched in 340 of Tesco’s larger stores.
The sliced ham is made without nitrites or artificial preservatives and is carved from individual pork joints (£3.25 per 100g pack).
Bearfields Marketing Director, Mairead Golden, said: “Market research shows consumers recognise the texture and flavour that delicatessen quality ham delivers, but many are also becoming more concerned about preservatives in their food. By providing a great tasting ham that has the reassurance of being made without nitrites and artificial preservatives, we believe this offers something new to shoppers”
The newly launched range includes:
- Bearfields Carved Deli Ham
- Bearfields Carved Honey Roast Deli Ham
- Bearfields Carved Breaded Deli Ham
Golden added: “It’s clear that lots of consumers are looking to reduce additives in their diet and we’re delighted to have the biggest offering of this kind of product in the whole country.”
