Bebeto, the confectionery brand owned by Kervan Gida, has launched a new range called Freeze Crunchy that is inspired by viral TikTok trends.
The freeze-drying process, often used for space exploration and emergency foods, works by freezing the sweets and then using a vacuum to remove moisture. This creates a light, crispy texture that has been described as a game-changer for sweets. The process is said to enhance the flavour of the sweets while creating a unique, brittle texture that is unlike anything else on the market.
Bebeto’s new Freeze-Dried Sweets will be available in three flavours: Peach Rings, Watermelon, and Marshmallow Twist. Each 35g resealable pouch ensures the sweets retain their crunchy texture while keeping moisture out (RRP £2.00). They will initially be available from SPAR and Parfetts.
