Bisto Taps Into Mid-Week Meals With New Variant

Bisto is stepping outside its traditional heartland of Sunday roast dinners with the launch of ‘For Sausages’ Gravy Granules.

Bisto highlighted that sausage-based meals are a popular choice for families, with an estimated 1.8 billion sausages consumed each year. In addition, ‘sausages and mash’ is one of the top three dishes consumed in the UK with research showing there were 174m ‘sausages and mash’ occasions in 2022, a 4% increase since 2019.

Bisto has developed a richer, thicker gravy that has been specifically crafted to provide a savoury, slightly sweet flavour profile to compliment the taste of sausages.

Bisto For Sausages Gravy Granules is non-HFSS and is available in 190g recyclable drum format at a MSRP of £2.99. It has just launched in Asda, with roll out to more retailers in May.
