KP Snacks is expanding its Butterkist range with the launch of a new variant, Caramelised Biscuit Flavour toffee popcorn.
The new line comes in 155g sharing bags and will be rolling out in Co-op from 22 July and stocked in Sainsbury’s and Asda shortly after. The launch will be supported with influencer content across different platforms, using the familiar brand slogan of ‘Go grab the Butterkist.’
Jenny Blanco Bancia, Marketing Manager at KP Snacks, said: “We are excited to add an exciting and delicious flavour to the Butterkist portfolio. Our new flavour capitalises on the growth of Big Night In and offers customers a fun and tasty new flavour to enjoy during their sharing occasions.”
The Butterkist brand is worth £55.9m and growing at 5%. At nearly twice as large as its nearest branded competitor, Butterkist has a market share of 35.4%.
