Carte D’Or Partners With Baileys For New Dessert

Unilever’s Carte D’Or brand has teamed up with Baileys to launch a new dessert in time for the Christmas season.

Carte-DOr-BaileysCarte D’Or Baileys marks the first alcohol brand collaboration for Carte D’Or in the UK. It is rolling out across the grocery and convenience channels and will remain part of the Carte D’Or portfolio beyond the festive season as a permanent flavour extension.

The product is made with Baileys flavour vanilla ice cream, dark chocolate pieces and a Baileys flavour caramel sauce.

The launch is being supported with in-store activation, including stand-out point of sale as it’s being cross-merchandised in spirits aisles as well as the ice cream aisle in participating retailers. The product is also being supported on Carte D’Or social media channels, with a potential reach of 20m.

Jennifer Dyne, Head of Ice-Cream UK & Ireland at Unilever, said: “We are so excited to be launching this new iconic festive ice cream innovation. Bringing together the number one premium desserts brand with one of the UKs most loved festive drinks is guaranteed to drive excitement in the ice cream aisle throughout this busy season and creates a great opportunity for retailers to tap into a new premium dessert offering driven by two of Christmas’ most loved products.”
