Cawston Press is introducing new Sparkling Can Multipacks across supermarkets this Spring (RRP £4.50).
The can formats and packaging have been redesigned to mirror the quality of Cawston Press drinks, whilst offering consumers a more environmentally friendly purchase.
The range will be available in the brand’s four sparkling SKUs: Cloudy Apple, Ginger Beer, Elderflower Lemonad, and Sparkling Rhubarb.
The introduction of the new Sparkling Can Multipacks are part of Cawston Press’ ‘Pressing for Better’ strategy, which includes a commitment to reducing packaging waste by using easily recyclable and more recycled materials, with the aim to reach net zero by 2050. The new multipack uses FSC-certified cardboard and is 100% recyclable in a watch strap format to remove the use of soft plastic, saving 7.7 tonnes of shrink wrap a year. Instead of using a fully enclosed box, the watch strap provides the same functionality but for less materials.
The new format also sees the multipack cans moving from 330ml to slimline 250ml cans, with the aim to tap into further at-home usage occasions. Cawston Press Sparkling Cans will still be available in 330ml single can formats across grocery front of store and to out-of-home channels.
Steve Kearns, Managing Director at Cawston Press, commented: ‘The new multipack is an important milestone for Cawston Press in our ongoing journey towards a better, more sustainable future, as we aim to reduce packaging waste and reach net zero by 2050. The Sparkling Multipacks have been created to meet the evolving needs of our consumers, whilst still providing the premium, quality soft drinks we are known and loved for.”
