Wild Thingz, a new brand offering lower-sugar, additive-free sweets, has launched on Ocado.
Aiming to provide parents with a better confectionery option for children, Wild Thingz gummies are made with organic, plant-based ingredients, with no artificial flavours, colours, gelatine, palm oil or preservatives, and half the sugar of traditional sweets.
The brand has launched on Ocado with its full 130g range, which includes Zesty Pests, Fruity Flyz, and Gummy Grubs.
As part of its debut with the online supermarket, Wild Thingz is running a special launch promotion: Buy any 2 sharebags for £4, running until 15th July.
Upon launch, Wild Thingz issued a challenge to sweet giants like Haribo and Mars, urging them to clean up their ingredients.
The brand’s Founder, Fliss Newland, formerly of Mondelēz, said: “Sweets should spark joy, not concern. If we can make them fun, plant-based, and free from all the artificial fillers, so can the big brands. It’s time for them to raise the bar.”
