Fruit-infused sparkling water brand DASH has announced the launch of BIG DASH, a new 500ml can format created for the food-to-go fixture.
The larger cans come in two flavours – Lime and Raspberry – and are available in 130 Waitrose stores.
Jack Scott, Co-founder of DASH Water, said: “We are so excited to be launching 500ml cans of our two best-selling flavours into Waitrose. The launch comes from insight from our webshop which found that over 50% of our customers drink more than one 330ml can of DASH a day, and a further 75% responded to say that they’d like to see the 500ml in their local store.”
The same survey also revealed the reasoning behind consumer demand for larger cans, with one customer explaining: “It’s really hard to make healthy choices when buying a supermarket meal deal. There is such a lack of drinks that contain no sugar or sweeteners that taste good and are well-priced, and DASH is just that. Bigger is better!”
Scott added: “The launch of our 500ml cans is just another step forward in our journey to disrupting a drinks market dominated by high-sugar and artificially sweetened products and enabling more consumers to make healthier drink choices on the go.”
