Doves Farm has announced the expansion of its range of breakfast cereals, with the launch of a new Organic Ancient Grain Spelt Flakes (375g pack – RRP: £3.75).
The new addition is made from sustainably-grown organic whole spelt and organic corn syrup. It is free from artificial additives, high in fibre, and a source of protein.
Clare Marriage, Co-Founder of Doves Farm, said: “The launch addresses two growing trends, including a rising demand for ancient grains in the UK. Over the past year, total spelt flour volume has increased by 5.4%, while Doves Farm spelt flour has grown by 9.7%. It also responds to concerns about ultra-processed foods and the increasing interest in simple, clean-label breakfast options – both of which the new Doves Farm Spelt Flakes successfully meet”.
The brand stated that the new breakfast cereal provides a timely opportunity for retailers to capture demand from eco-active shoppers, looking for wholesome, high fibre breakfast options.
