Dr. Oetker has expanded its product portfolio with the introduction of a Make Your Own Pizza Kit.
The brand highlighted that during the pandemic and current cost-of-living crisis, there has been an increase in households creating their own pizzas at home, with the occasion growing by 6% over the last five years.
The new Dr. Oetker product includes the pizza base mix as well as a tomato pizza sauce. The kit will create 2 x 10 inch pizza bases where customers can create thin & crispy or deep pan versions. The pizza sauce comes in two sachets so consumers can choose to make just one pizza if they’d prefer and they can top their pizza however they like.
The kit is fully HFSS compliant and comes in recyclable packaging.
Dr. Oetker Make Your Own Pizza Kit (MRRP: £3.00) is currently rolling out in Tesco and Ocado, and will be available in Sainsbury’s and Morrisons from September.
