Aldi will stock a new Dragons’ Den-approved sauce range in its stores from 17th August.
The Lumberjaxe Backyard BBQ Sauce and Lumberjaxe Moonshine Mango Sauce (£3.99 – 250g) contain all-natural ingredients and are designed to complement a wide range of dishes, from burgers and wings to grilled vegetables.
The brand was founded by two brothers, Brendan and Jayden Manders, who built their business from just £100 each. Their pitch on Dragons’ Den secured an investment and support from businesswoman Emma Grede, helping them expand their operation.
Brendan commented: “Honestly, it’s a bit surreal. If someone told us last year we’d be in Aldi stores, we’d have laughed! We’re just buzzing that even more people can now try our sauces without paying a fortune.”
Jayden added: “Seeing our sauces on Aldi shelves is a ‘pinch-me’ moment. We’ve poured everything into this range and knowing families are enjoying something that started in our mum’s kitchen? That’s just incredible!”
