Cleaning brand Ecover has launched dishwasher tablets with an invisible plastic-free coating that is claimed to help reduce aquatic plastic pollution.
Available in All In One (RRP £7.50) and All In One Power (RRP £8.50) variants, the new tablets are made with a biodegradable, quick dry rinse aid formula and salt action sparkle. The All-In-One Power variant has 40% more stain-removing enzymes for improved cleaning power.
The box has been made with 60% post-consumer recycled cardboard and is packed tightly to free up space under the sink for users. The tablets, which come in a mandarin and lemongrass fragrance, have launched in Tesco and Waitrose.
