With Halloween spending in the UK predicted to rise in 2025, Ginsters is set to tap into shopper demand with the launch of a new limited edition Halloween-themed pasty.
The new Ginsters Haunted Hog Roast Pasty (RRP of £2.25 – 180g) is rolling out in supermarkets this month, including Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Heron Foods.
The recipe includes British Pork with sage and onion stuffing, locally sourced potatoes and onions and no artificial flavourings, colours or preservatives.
The Haunted Hog Roast Pasty follows a raft of innovation from Ginsters in 2025, including new on-the-go snack size Ginsters Pockets and the Ginsters Limited Edition Heinz Beanz & Cheese Slice.
Sarah Babb, Ginsters Marketing Director, commented: “Ginsters continues to lead the way in flavour innovation for the Savoury Pastry category. Since we first launched our Limited Edition Halloween Pasty, it has been a hit with younger shoppers who are looking for inspiration at Savoury Pastry fixtures. This year we’ve delivered even more taste sensations into the category with recent launches, and we’re confident that our brand new, Halloween Haunted Hog Roast Pasty is sure to continue the momentum and excitement.”
