Ginsters Unveils Two New Snacking Products

Leading savoury pastry brand Ginsters is launching two new products today – a Breakfast Roll and a Butter Chicken Bake.

The Ginsters Breakfast Roll (RRP £1.50 – 130g) brings together breakfast ingredients – smoked bacon, scrambled egg, potato, and tomato ketchup – in a pork sausage roll encased in puff pastry.

The brand noted that sausage rolls typically attract a younger audience who actively seek out new and interesting flavours. With the rolls segment currently made up almost entirely (87%) of single-flavour pork rolls, Ginsters stated that there is a huge opportunity for innovation to drive category growth.

Meanwhile, the Ginsters Butter Chicken Bake (RRP £1.50 – 117g) is designed to appeal to curry lovers. The product contains British chicken cooked in a butter sauce with a blend of spices, coconut and lemon, encased in puff pastry. The brand claims the new line over-indexed versus category norms in both flavour and purchase intent in consumer taste testing.

Like the rest of the Ginsters range, both new products do not contain artificial flavourings, colours or preservatives.
