Green Isle Foods has introduced Ottimo, a new range of fresh frozen filled pasta that aims to “redefine the premium pasta category”.
Available exclusively across 230 Tesco stores from 6 November, Ottimo cooks from frozen in four minutes and is available in three varieties: Four Cheese Ravioli, Spinach & Ricotta Tortelloni and Mushroom Ravioli.
Ottimo claims that its fresh frozen process ensures the product maintains the texture of fresh pasta and preserves all the nutrients.
Aisling Twomey, Marketing Manager at Green Isle Foods, said: “We are delighted to launch the Ottimo pasta range in Tesco UK this November. The Ottimo range of fresh frozen filled pasta, a first for the frozen category, is made with quality ingredients and delivers a delicious Italian-inspired range for shoppers who are looking for convenient meal options.”
The launch will be supported with in-store sampling, promotional coupons in the Tesco magazine, and in-store signage in the frozen aisle.
