Hellmann’s has launched two new sauces in the UK grocery channel – Creamy Ranch and Spicy Ranch (RRP £2.69 – 245g).
Ranch dominates the US condiment market, where it ranks as the second-best-selling condiment, surpassing ketchup. With the UK’s appetite for American-inspired flavours on the rise, Hellmann’s stated that its Ranch range is perfectly positioned to meet this need and aims to drive category growth.
Richard Vaughan, Marketing Manager Foods at Unilever, said: “Ranch is an iconic American flavour that’s rapidly gaining popularity in the UK, with Google search trends showing that consumer interest in the flavour has surged considerably over the last year.
“With flavoured mayonnaise currently having 26% penetration in the UK, Hellmann’s new Ranch sauces present a strong opportunity to establish Ranch as a brand-new sub-category within condiments, and a new go-to flavour option for shoppers looking to elevate their favourite dishes.

The launch is being supported by an extensive marketing campaign, including POS materials to boost visibility for the range in-store.
