Premier Foods is introducing two new cooking sauces to its Homepride No Added Sugars range.
The new Carbonara and Tomato & Red Pepper flavours are joining the existing No Added Sugars range aimed at offering consumers healthier alternatives for everyday family meals.
The company noted that the cooking sauces category has experienced 2.4% growth annually, with the Italian healthier alternative subsector seeing stronger growth of 4.1%. Homepride is tapping into this demand by expanding its range with non-HFSS options that retailers can promote anywhere in store.
Andrey Sokirkin, global marketing director for cooking sauces at Premier Foods, commented: “Premier Foods has been leading the way in offering consumers more choice, with healthier options that deliver great taste. Homepride’s new No Added Sugars sauces are the latest offering to be added to Premier Foods’ better for you line up and appeal to health-conscious shoppers.”
The Carbonara and Tomato & Red Pepper No Added Sugars sauces are rolling out in Sainsbury’s and Asda, with an MRSP of £2.79.
