Jam Shed Introducing Bubbly Rosé In Cans

Accolade Wines-owned brand Jam Shed is bringing an all-new variant to the market, tapping into on-trend formats and occasions with the launch of Bubbly Rosé Cans.

Jam-Shed-cansLaunching in Tesco in April, the cans include a bubbly rosé with flavours of fresh red summer berries and cream. Offered in a slim can size, Bubbly Rosé is aimed as an accompaniment for on-the-go occasions this summer.

Worth £28.5m annually, wine cans are growing at 18.6% year-on-year, with Jam Shed aiming to increase sales by bringing a recognised brand to the format.

Recent research from Accolade Wines explored consumer’s evolving attitudes towards alternative wine packaging, dubbed as ‘Friendly Formats’. These formats include boxed wine and cans, and are poised to redefine Brits’ wine consumption whilst offering longer-term improvements to the environmental challenges facing the wine industry today. Other recent new format launches include Jam Shed Shiraz Mini Box.
