Jason’s Sourdough has launched two new product ranges: Jason’s Sourdough Creations – available in two flavours – and Jason’s Everyday Seeded Protein Rolls.
Rolling out in 300 Tesco stores, the latest additions build on the success of the brand’s core range, including White Ciabattin and Grains & Seeds.
The Creations range includes two variants – Fruit Loaf and Olive & Basil. Meanwhile, the new Every Day Seeded Protein Rolls follow on from the launch of the brand’s Protein Loaf. Each roll delivers 14g of protein and is made using the same mother sour culture as Jason’s sourdough loaves.
“Expanding our range is a natural step as the brand continues to grow,” said Jason Geary, Master Baker at Jason’s Sourdough.
“As the category evolves, we’re committed to developing products that respond to changing consumer preferences and offer great choice for different consumption occasions while maintaining the quality, craft and simplicity that defines our brand. These two new ranges show the versatility of our Sourdough – it’s about combining innovation with tradition, whilst maintaining exceptional quality.”
The launch of the new lines follows a significant milestone for Geary’s Bakery, the family-run business behind Jason’s Sourdough, with the recent opening of a new £36m bakery in Leicester. The company’s third facility will double its production capacity and create 380 new jobs.
NAM Implications:
- As a regular user…
- …and taking into account the constantly empty shelves in the Jason fixture at my local Tesco…
- …inevitable range extensions will build incremental sales.
