Kingfisher Drinks has announced the launch of Sagres Sol & Mar beer in the UK. The new product will be available to grocery and convenience retailers from August onwards in packs of 6 x 250ml bottles, with an RSP of £6 per pack.
Sagres Sol & Mar is described as light, crisp, and brewed with a subtle touch of sea salt from the Portuguese coast. The salt is said to bring out its smooth, easy-drinking character, while the lower 4% ABV makes it ideal for warm-weather occasions.
Andy Sunnucks, senior brand manager at Kingfisher Drinks, commented: “We know many drinkers nowadays are looking for more lower abv, flavour-forward options with authenticity and craft cues, and new Sagres Sol & Mar delivers on all three.
