Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats (MCD&T) has announced the launch of a New Galaxy Caramel Cake.
The cake is a chocolate sponge cake with pockets of caramel sauce, topped with chocolate frosting, chocolate buttons and a caramel drizzle. It is rolling out in Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda this month with an RSP of £4.00.
The brand noted that sharing cakes are now worth £244m, having increased in value by 18.5% and volume by 2.9% over the past 12 months.

Galaxy Chocolate Caramel Cake will join the existing MCD&T range of small sharing cakes, including Maltesers Cake, Galaxy Triple Chocolate Cake, and Mars Chocolate and Caramel Cake.
