Asda has become the first Big Four grocer to stock Mooncup, the UK’s leading menstrual cup brand.
The new Mooncup Beginner range will be available in 178 stores in the UK. The brand noted that it has been designed especially for those who may have felt daunted by reusable menstrual cups in the past. A single Mooncup can last for years, potentially saving thousands of single-use plastic tampons from ending up in landfill.
The brand’s zero plastic applicator tampons, alongside &SISTERS by Mooncup pads and liners, are also rolling out in Asda stores this week.
Lucy Lettice, Mooncup Chief of Periods, said: “We’re over the moon that Asda have made the move to be the first supermarket to introduce Mooncup to their period care aisle.
