Nākd Introduces Rolling Limited-Edition Flavours

Nākd, the snack brand owned by Natural Balance Foods, is introducing a new rotational flavour series, kicking off with a limited-edition Cocoa Mint making a six-month comeback this month.

Naked-cocoa-mintNākd Cocoa Mint will join the brand’s portfolio of wheat, gluten and dairy-free, vegan snack bars from this week. The company noted that limited-edition flavours help drive interest with consumers – offering more choice to existing shoppers, whilst enticing new ones to the category. Cocoa Mint was initially launched in 2014, with the brand claiming that consumers have been demanding its return since.

Jo Agnew, Marketing Director at Natural Balance Foods, commented: “As one of the leading brands within the ‘better for you’ cereal bar segment, we wanted to drive relevance all year round by bringing back a product that is on trend this season and also a beloved flavour amongst our consumers. Here at Nākd we believe that delicious taste is key and something shoppers don’t want to compromise on, even when it comes to healthier snacking.

“We are very excited about this launch and confident that our limited-edition flavour – Cocoa Mint – will be a hit amongst new, lapsed and existing shoppers. We will follow this with another six months rolling special edition flavour to keep shoppers engaged and continue to drive conversations around the Nākd brand.”

Cocoa Mint will be available in multipacks of four in Sainsbury’s, with an RRP of £3.00.
