Iceland Foods has announced that Power Water, a new beverage for hydration and concentration, is launching in its supermarkets this week.
Power Water combines caffeine and hydration to tackle fatigue and boost concentration. It contains B vitamins and branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs) that have been proven to reduce tiredness.
The new drink will be available exclusively at Iceland and The Food Warehouse, both in-store and online, for £1.00 (500ml). It comes in three variants: Blue Raspberry Energy Water, Cherry Energy Water, and Tropical Energy Water.
Aaron Cooper, Head of Grocery Impulse at Iceland, said: “We are so excited to be first to market offering Power Water exclusively to our customers at Iceland.
“Power Water is a genuine innovation in the Soft Drinks category and will be a fantastic new addition to our wide range of products, providing a unique combination of hydration and enhanced cognitive function. We believe our customers will love the refreshing taste and the benefits that come with it.”
Sanj Dosanjh, Managing Director at Power Water, added: “We’re delighted to be launching Power Water exclusively in Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores across the UK for the accessible price of just £1.00.
“We’re extremely passionate about offering a hydrating, alternative to fizzy drinks and know from our research that our fans are too, with many seeking healthier alternative functional drinks – not just when in a gym environment, but also within their day to day lives. We can’t wait for everyone to try it – it’s the new way to power your day.”
