Oatly And Nespresso Come Together To Launch Oat Milk Coffee Capsules

Swedish oat milk company Oatly has partnered with Nestlé-owned coffee brand Nespresso to launch a limited-edition line of oat milk coffee capsules.

Oatly-And-NespressoThe capsules, made for Nespresso Vertuo coffee machines, contain a blend of roasted and ground coffee beans crafted especially for Oatly’s Barista Edition oat drink.

Nespresso said the launch responds to research showing that one in two American and European consumers now use plant-based milks, as well as two-thirds of all consumers in the Asia-Pacific and Latin American region.

Toby Weedon, barista development director at Oatly, said: “Thanks to its neutral taste, Oatly Barista Edition brings out the best flavour in coffee. It’s why it is used by professional baristas and embraced by coffee enthusiasts all over the world.”

He added: “We’re delighted to have worked with the experts at Nespresso to finally bring to market a coffee capsule that was tried and tested, especially for the millions of oat drink lovers out there”.

Nespresso’s Oatly Barista Edition coffee officially launched this week in more than 15 countries, including the UK, US, China and Australia.
